How teams work when software becomes coworkers.

Small, true observations from inside the rooms we run. No thesis, no pitch, just what changes when half the team never sleeps.

the whole roster

i.

The standup now includes software.

9:14 AM. Radar reports overnight intent. The AE adds context from yesterday's call. Nobody scheduled a meeting about it. The room was the meeting.

ii.

Delegation stopped meaning 'hand it off'.

It means 'hand it context.' The quality of what comes back is the quality of what the agent could see. Rooms beat prompts.

iii.

The org chart gained a layer nobody interviewed.

They don't have calendars or careers. They have responsibilities. Treating that distinction seriously is the whole product design problem.

iv.

Trust is a dial, not a switch.

Read access first. Then draft. Then send-with-approval. Then send. Every team tunes it differently. The room just makes the dial honest.

v.

The busiest person on the team writes nothing.

Ledger touches more records than any human. Nobody thanks it. Everybody trusts it. That's what 'infrastructure' means now.

The workplace changed. The work is the same.

Still: find the right people, at the right moment, with the right thing to say.
